Right... this is more for your opinion, but it does have 2 recipes as well. Which should I use over top of Crab Ravioli with the Salmon & Savory Strawberry sauce, and Carrots a la Orange?

SAVORY LEMON SAUCE

INGREDIENTS

2 cups fresh lemon juice
1 cup olive oil
1 tablespoon red-wine vinegar
1 1/2 teaspoons minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
Salt and pepper, to taste

DIRECTIONS

Place all ingredients in a large bowl, and whisk together until well blended. Cover, and refrigerate until ready to use. Whisk or shake vigorously just before use.

OR

CITRUS SAUCE

1/4 cup butter

3 tablespoons frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed

2 tablespoons whipping cream

1 teaspoon finely shredded lime peel

1 tablespoon lime juice

Sliced green onions

Lime slices

3. For citrus sauce, in the same skillet whisk together butter, orange juice concentrate, whipping cream, lime peel and lime juice over medium heat until well-combined. Serve with ravioli. Sprinkled with sliced green onions and, if desired, lime slices.

I don't want something sweet, so...

Oi! All you long-time cooks, help please!

I decided I was gonna pick out a random sauce from the asian section of the supermarket and make a side dish with it. Only problem is, I can't find a veggie-only recipe to go with it. Do y'all know of anything to make using DUCK SAUCE?

Any tips would be wonderful, I'm making it Friday when my dad's off and prepping Thursday, soooooo! smile

How about spring rolls? You could use the duck sauce as a dip.

Spring rolls are like sushi- they are an art.
An art I don't feel like mastering the same day I make them for the first time, lol.

I'm making some (supposed to be) vegan scallion pancakes and using it as the dip. I wish I could do something more... interesting, but, hey, we're trying three new things Friday, so it'll all be interesting.

I'll post the recipes of everything at a later date. Right now, if I wanna be up by 6-6:30am I should go to sleep. Now. :)

Super easy shortbread biscuits:

INGREDIENTS

One cup of butter
Half a cup of sugar
Two and half cups of flour

METHOD

Pre heat your oven to 300 degrees.
Cream the butter and sugar together.
Add the flour bits at a time and mix until the texture is like clay (don't ask me why, just the recipe I use).
Roll out small balls of dough onto an oven tray that is lined with parchment paper and flatten slightly.
Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the biscuits are light brown and crispy around the edges
Take out of oven, and let stand until they are cooled enough to eat.
