My 9-11 Tribute poem "We Shall Never Forget" has been in print at least fourteen times...and that's only what I've managed to find through Google...it's not like anyone actually tells me these things...

Trying to make a list up of print stuff and some of the other things it was used for...I have my motives here, btw...

Print Stuff...

Annual Spring Science Fiction-Fantasy-Horror Writer’s Competition...no entry fee, cash prizes, publication, fame, fortune...the whole nine...first prize is $400 and publication in their Annual Anthology, and there are five winners...

They are looking for stories 5 - 20k words, so good luck my friends...

I think this one might be worth a "bump"...Bump...

They only accept submissions between January and June...ie., the first half of the year...and that is a decent amount of money...especially the $200 per poem...

Good luck Stories Space People...
You'll like that book btw Sharon...it's a nice book, a bit pricey...but, it is a real nice book to have and show off...

The layout is nice...lots of little squigley-type designs in the corners of the pages and stuff...sort of an old-time poetry book look, if you know what I mean...

You'll be happy with it...
Btw, I actually saw the book today...it's not a bad looking book overall, and you can get it at B & N for a mere $6.29 I might add...not bad for a print book...

In my bio in the back of the book, I list my profile page here at Stories Space as my website since I don't actually have my own site or blog...a situation I don't expect to change anytime soon, btw...

So, this fine site gets a bit of free advertising as well...

Ah shucks...who gave you the badges anyway? Probably an oversight in the Badge Distribution Department here on Stories Space...

I may have to take this up with the Executive Director of Badge Control at the next Badge Control Committee meeting...

I have no idea which Badge Control Committee member you may have bribed, but I can assure you...I will get to the bottom of this...
Oh, this is nice...take my word here, better yet watch it...for my video pick today on this New Year's Eve we have Mr. B.B. King...

I know some say he's somewhat overrated as a blues guitarist...but, he's probably at his peak around this time in the mid to late-sixties...you decide my friends...

And best wishes for all in the coming New Year...

And, of course, the cover...reminds me of some of my past Christmases...

If you can figure out what these people want, they are opening submissions again...and this is interesting...

"Individual pieces in your manuscript may have appeared in journals, both in print and online, as long as the entire collection itself is unpublished. Pays $50 per piece."...ah yes, loopholes are always good...

That's very nice Lola...how long it take you to do that?

On another note...looks like it's almost this time...I'll have to find a good New Year martini picture...

Sort of bumping this one...don't have a nice bump gif like Nicola, so I'll just say "Bump"...

There's been someone soliciting SS members again...I personally don't really have an issue, but just a friendly reminder...if any publisher comes looking for you...no matter how good you think you are...it's probably too good to be true...just saying...

And it is always better to know the facts before getting into anything...

Oh damn...apparently somebody just posted this one on YouTube...very seasonal I might add...

Brings back memories...I saw Johnny Mathis with my mother back in the 70's...The Pointer Sisters were the opening act...my mother was a big JM fan...if I had a dollar for every time I heard "Johnny Mathis Greatest Hits" growing up...um, let's say I'd have a lot of money...

I SHOT MY FIRST CHRISTMAS TURKEY!!!!

Unfortunately, it scared the heck out of everyone in the frozen food section at the grocery store...

Congrats to you Alan. Any pics of the book, or at least the title?

My story "His Christmas Wish"...which is available for your reading pleasure on this fine site btw...is also out in a Christmas anthology on Dancing With Bear Publishing...and at only seven bucks is one of the greatest bargains in the history of mankind I might add...

Haven't seen that one yet, but I'm told it exists by people who have sent for it and received it...the publisher is a bit slow to send me my free author copies apparently...
