People elsewhere keep describing Drew as a teddy bear and it just makes me want to snuggle with him even more than I already do (and that’s really saying something).

Hello. There are a few behind the scene updates going on so hopefully it will be sorted across the board by tomorrow. You are not the first person to mention the gold membership.
Oh good. I just tried to see if I could post a new topic here, and it worked, but maybe that’s cause there’s no paid memberships here.

Well hell! I had a lovely response all typed and hit the wrong button and it all disappeared! I should know better than to try to post from my phone. The gist of it was that people who truly care about you, Elyse, would never laugh at y’all. Feelings are feelings and can always express them among friends.
Thanks. I really needed to hear that.
Anyway, Drew has a beard right now (has done for quite awhile actually) and I have a love/hate relationship with it. On one hand, it gives him hot college professor vibes, but on the other I don’t think it would make kissing him too comfy.
Oh god. I hesitate to even say this cause I really don’t want y’all to laugh at me (even though I know my taste in people can get interesting at times) but I - I was pretty much body slammed with feelings for Drew at the end of last week.
This is why I try not to hold them in but like - he’s really near and dear to my heart (and has been from his first day hosting TPIR) so yeah, I’m a bit of a mess.
No, I didn’t die, but real life did get in the way thanks to the holidays (as well as my forgetting this place exists whoops).
I’ve mostly been learning about superheroes in general but most of my retained knowledge is on Batman and Superman cause they’re my favorites. (Side note - why is Christopher Reeve so pretty? Just to press all my buttons?!)
Also, I’m finally a part of the modern world cause I got my first iPhone last month. It’s so surreal; like, I’m still pinching myself at times cause I used to think the only way I’d ever get a smart phone was if my dad lost his mind, so to speak.
Here’s hoping my new poem gets approved.

Hey Elyse! I just noticed a story in The Guardian – British newspaper – about Alan Rickman. I didn't know if you'd be interested, but thought I'd point it out anyway:
https://www.theguardian.com/film/2022/sep/24/alan-rickmans-secret-showbiz-diaries-harry-potter
He was a versatile actor, and an intriguing person.
He really was. Also, I've known about his diaries being published for awhile, but thank you regardless.
Season 51 of The Price is Right is absolute chaos and I'm here for it.
On Monday, someone won $51,000. Then on Tuesday somebody messed up on a game in a way that hadn't been seen since 1990. Wednesday ended in a double overbid. And yesterday, two of the hardest games were won.
I'm still going to link to it just because I can though.

Never found Drew especially adorable. Funny as hell, but more like a wise-cracking uncle than adorable. But I'm not you, eh. 😊
That's what (or who, I should say) I meant when I said I have interesting taste in people.
EDIT: Here's hoping my entry into the comp is approved.

I like Drew as the host. I loved when he hosted the show "Whose Line is it Anyway"?
HBO Max has the seasons where he's the host (although it should really be called Drew's Line).

My first wife (man, it's weird to use that term) loved Whose Line is it Anyway. Drew is a natural doing that kinda thing. I loved his old show (and his old TV show song, Cleveland Rocks!)
I'd love to see the one you mean but nobody has it for streaming. And yes, he really is. Sometimes he says the most random things (like when he joked about adding raisins to a pound of butter and eating it).
