You know things are bad when you wake up feeling you are being stabbed in the foot

Anyone remember the Godzilla cartoon show?
Which one? The seventies one or the nineties one? I'm assuming the former given you're probably my age or older. Don't remember the kids in mouth trick. The nineties one I never saw but have seen it reviewed and discussed. It was based on the Roland Emmerich film but by some accounts was actually better.

He says I can do more things but to take it easy and not overdo
Do what he says, now. This is one of those times to take care of yourself. Get well soon.
And what's with Elizabeth with all the cartoons and funny memes? She's suddenly turning into our resident comedian.
Hi, all. Sorry I haven't been getting in to do the coffee. Work is the reason. I've put on a pot of coffee and pots each of green tea and lemon ginger herbal since it's late in the day here.
Been writing a bit but seem to be in another rut.
Lighting up the fire. Cold here again, but the snow has stopped falling and the sun is out.
Coffee is on, a nice dark roast from Nicaragua. Scottish Breakfast and Earl Grey are in the teapots. Hot water is ready with hot chocolate and a selection of fine teas on standby. The cold beverages are still holding up well. Guess most of us are still in winter.
Not writing much right now, just tinkering with ideas. Hopefully one will catch fire eventually.
Ever wanted to get in on the ground floor of a new market for stories? Here's seven. I've already bookmarked Grim & Gilded since it's absolutely in my wheelhouse (horror, dark fantasy, fantasy, s-f).

Remarkably painless - the signing at closing took all of 15 minutes. It used to take hours and hours, but I guess the ritual has lost some of it's authority. At any rate, I am DONE, and should have a big honking check in my account this afternoon.
Congratulations. I haven't sold a house in over twenty years and it will likely be a few more still. And that one I sold privately, no realtor involved. Just me, the buyer, and their lawyer. I know up here they've gone to digital signing for a lot of the paperwork, which would definitely speed things up. We're using it more and more in healthcare, too.

And here comes that darned north wind as promised.
Nasty here (the Canadian London). Blowing snow most of my way to work and the roads sucked even when I got out of that.

This only being allowed up 5 mins every hour is getting to be nuts
Ugh. Don't know about you, but I'd be stiff as a board if I had stay down for that much time. Watched three lectures in a Great Courses series (If you have access to them through a library or something, they're a great time-killer and you learn stuff, too. My library has them on Kanopy and doesn't count them against your monthly borrows.) yesterday and was stiff after the second.
Coffee is on, some nice Jamaican Blue Mountain. Teas are Russian Caravan and Red Rose. Hot water for the hot chocolate crowd is, well, hot. And we have the fridge stocked but if others are getting weather like mine, you'll want to stick to the hot stuff.
Have a good one, y'all!
I like that idea. Looking forward to it.
Good morning, Inspirations!
Snow flurries in my neck of the woods. Hopefully this is winter's last hurrah given that April looms.
Coffee is an Ethiopian dark roast. Teas are Keemun (a find Chinese black) and Red Rose. Hot water is ready for other teas, hot chocolate, or for ramen if you need a quick snack. Marshmallows are stocked up in both public and Sara stashes.

I assume the peepers are doing well, Scott.
Working like a charm as long as what I am looking it is more than a foot from my face (which is the opposite of what I used to be like). Reading glasses are inevitable at this point based on how hard it is to read my phone screen. I have to hold it at arms' length.
