Certain meats if you haven't tried them are 'in theory' supposed to taste like chicken, right? Perhaps so. That's a matter of opinion.

"Republican prosperity" was touted in a 1928 campaign advertisement that had provided a "chicken in every pot."

With so many people consuming so much chicken, it's no wonder that after a while everything seemingly would taste like chicken.

Now that all that's out of the way, here's my main question and perhaps someone somewhere may have a good answer.

We all know that the proverbial chicken crossed the road (in various ways). This chicken was bound (no pun intended) and determined to get to the other side of the road.

What was on the other side of the road that the proverbial chicken wanted so badly to get to?

Was it a henhouse? Was it a rooster hangout on a Friday night so that they could play cards, binge watch their favorite cable tv series, have a few drinks and generally have a wild time of it?

Was it a vacation place so that the chicken could deal with the hangover from the night before? Was it a spa so that the chicken could look good for the visit to the henhouse?

Many possibilities, but which one was it? Could it have been something completely different? Please conjecture on this topic. Let's see where this chicken mystery leads!
