Graduation Day

Twelve years

Of blood,

Sweat, and

Culminate on

This night.

The class

Prepared his

Or her speech

To the class.

The class president

Has a few words to

The rest of the class

Isn’t hearing it.

They’re waiting

To go to

The wildest

Graduation party

The school has

Ever seen.

Family and

Friends cheer

As the names are called out

One by one.

Pictures are

Taken again

As they were

A couple of weeks ago

At the prom.

Off the class

Go in their

Separate ways

Never to see each other

Until the reunion.
