Happy Birthday Emily.
Today is your second birthday, and this is not how I thought I'd be spending it.
If I cried, I thought the tears would be from Joy, Not from the pain I am feeling.

Today is your second birthday, and this is not how I should be spending it.

I wonder everyday, if you are watching over me, and know how I am feeling.

Do you know that your mommy misses you, more than anything in this world?

Do you know, that I'd give anything to hold you in my arms.

Are you aware, that I'd give anything in this world,

To hold you once again, in my arms.

Today is your Birthday.
Happy Birthday.
I wonder what you would want for your Birthday this year.

I know if it was my birthday, there is only one wish I'd have once again this year.

To be able to see your beautiful smile.
Your smile, that is one thing that I miss the most.

Your smile, I can still see it, and even now, it makes me smile.

I miss you so much, I know of all the things I miss, I miss your smile the most.

I don't know why you were taken from me, on that December night.
I still am unsure as to why you were taken away.
All I know, is I go back to that December night

And try to figure out what I could have done, to stop you from being taken away.

I want you to know, that I Love you, and I am sorry.

I am sorry I could not protect you, and stop this from happening.

If I could go back, and save you, I would, but I can't, and I am so sorry.

I Love you Emily.
Today is your Second birthday.

I wish you were still here, with me, My Beautiful Darling Emily.

I hope you have a wonderful Wonderful birthday.

Happy Birthday, to my Beautiful Daughter Emily.
