with the sun shining so bright

all the country birds singing cheerful songs

what a beautiful day for friends to duck school

Sidney finds his friend Sabia in the hallway

let's ditch school he says with a grin

let's go to the waterfall and relax in the sun

Sabia with a shy little smile knows Sidney's

crush on her ... all her friends whispering about

this crazy squirrel bushy tail and all

Sidney's friends all chided him for his heart

was held captive by Sabia since the first day of fall

was it her soft fur or was it her exotic eyes

one as jade and the other the colour of sky

everyone smiled at these two friends

if you could see into the future these two

lovers walking hand in hand stars in there eyes

with the sun shining so bright

all the country birds singing cheerful songs
