Tick Tock Please Stop

Tick, tick tock
Why do I even own a clock
Time wasted I march

That word came back
So sad we'd been on track
Around we go again

Promise you said
No not that word
Omissions I heard

Wasted chances drained
What did you gain
Now I'm left pieces apart

Words, just nonsense
My hearts wrenched
Noises from your lips

Secrets destroy us
Forgetting you say
Faulty memory a plus

Do you really think
That I would care
We've been through our share

Your life, health
Only that matters
Nothing not wealth

If you're gone from me
We're no longer a we
Please take a look

Take care of you
Do it for me now
I don't care how

My partner in life
No more lies
I can't say goodbye

Just go back for me
Get new pills
Take them for we

Don't leave me alone
I don't want to be cold
With you, I'm supposed to grow old
