As I sit here waiting
The clock on the wall

My fingers tapping in rhythm

When will it stop?
The faucet starts to drip

Every sound magnified
As I sit here waiting
The timer goes off

Finally the waiting is over
As I open the door
I see the most beautiful thing
My boys staring back at me
