Three women who fall in love create an extended family.

We are family …

I got all my sisters with me …

We are family …

Women one, two and three …

She and she and she …

Had each lost much of her family …

One temporarily …

But the others they will never see …

(Verse 1)

Deployment, accident and

Prejudice

Had left them alone

For above a year …

And

Each of them tried to deal with her sadness

And accompanying fear …

So

One became passive, one aggressive,

One projected

How would she love …

Someone so like her husband

But with the delicacy of a dove …

(Chorus)

They were family …

Mom, Dad, son a grandbaby …

And she wanted to see

Who else would take her love offered free?

Meanwhile by the sea …

Another’s parents died senselessly …

And it was plain to see

Her aunt wanted her far away as could be …

(Verse 2)

To a boarding school out of Dickens

She was packed away …

And

She became more shy, introverted

With each passing day …

One

Night a storm from the south

Made her room feel

Like the mouth of Hell …

And

A classmate appeared

And lay with her,

That they’d be lovers was as clear as a bell …

(Chorus)

They became family

There had never been

Another she …

Who in her heart could plainly see

How much she needed to be

Cared for so she could feel free.

So they moved to be

Away from rejecting family …

To be friends, lovers, sisters maybe?

(Verse 3)

A thousand miles away

On the Internet …

Mom started to write

About her desires …

And

To make love with a woman or two

Really stoked her fires …

Then

One of the girls read

The story and she saw

Between the lines …

That

Sex, nurturing and self-esteem

Held equal place

In her grand designs …

(Chorus)

She started writing to she …

Praising her lifelike story …

Soon they wanted to be

Far more than a chat buddy …

Mom told her husband and he

To help them all did agree …

So at Easter she drove to see

If two lovers could make three?

(Verse 4)

They sat on a couch and wondered

How they could go through with this …

So

The take-charge girl

Led them in the bedroom

And delivered each kiss …

Both

Of the others were passive,

One was new, one was shy …

But

Some soaked bed sheets later

They started on the way to bliss …

(Chorus)

Mom went home to family

Feeling so sexually free

And she conferred with hubby,

“Can they visit you and me?”

Hubby said “OK by me,

But I don’t want to be

Third wheel to you three,

Let them do what comes naturally.”

(Verse 5)

He dearly loved his wife

And she loved him back

With all her heart …

So

They agreed he would be the girls’ friend

And she their lover

Keep their roles apart …

Still

She wanted to give them

As good as they’d given her

Their first taste of love that she knew so well

Between a him and a her …

(Chorus)

Her son’s family

Was far less happy than

It seemed to be …

His wife’s jealousy

Crushed the love between he and she …

So his mom asked if he

Would come and take their virginity …

Though surprised they all did agree

Since Mom was great her son might just be?

So he took each cherry

And to their surprise, the alpha she

Fell in love with him instantly

A couple they wanted to be

(Verse 6)

Meanwhile Mom and girlfriend

Had fallen in love

And they loved Dad too …

So

He made arrangements

To accommodate

The whole crew,

He

Got them good jobs,

Free room and board,

Welcoming barbecue …

He even made love

To his wife

And her girlfriend too …

(Chorus)

They are family,

He, he, she, she, she …

Natural and adoptee

Happiness supremely?

In this family

Will there be wedding and pregnancy?

Mom cuddles girlfriend like she

Is in her womb like a new baby …

It’s far more

Than just pussy

That bonds him, her, he, she, she

Compassionately

Encouragingly …

They help each other to be

Far greater than they dared to foresee …

They’ve set each member free

To grow in mind, soul and body

So this family

Unconventional though it may be

Not sure, but perhaps they will be

Together through eternity?

SING IT, GIRLS!

We are family …

I got all my sisters with me …

We are family …

What a gift you’ve all given me!

(Final music)
