Another variation on a theme...

Take the previous word and add another word after it. Makes sense? No, not really, I hear you say but...

THE LAST TWO OR THREE LETTERS OF THE EXISTING WORD PLUS THE FIRST TWO OR THREE LETTERS OF THE NEW WORD MUST ALSO MAKE A WORD THEMSELVES.

You should have continued with sonNET

Now don't forget, you can use the last 2 or 3 letters to make a word with the first 2 or 3 letters of the new word to make a 4, 5 or 6 letter connection.
