Glad your op went okay, Ape. From what you say, reading glasses could make all the difference,

For once the sun shines, but the frost has returned. What do I want? A perfect day? Yes, please.

The ghost of a lost pal continues to haunt the house--and I don't mind at all.

Now I'll have a hot chocolate and have a bite at Velma. Thank you, Sara--no false promises from you.

Dull, dark ,drizzly day. Goodbye February, you've been a woeful month! But the daffodil are out, defying the weather, and promising Spring.

How long ago since you had two good eyes, Scott? What a difference you are going to find. Best of luck.

I'm so sorry to hear about your dog, Red.

Thanks for your consoling words, Verbal. You clearly know what it is like.

This boot is ITCHY!!!

I used a twelve inch ruler to reach such an itch, but that was in the olden days.

A hot chocolate and a couple of those delicious pawprint cookies, please.

And I've just noticed the paw print cookies. How could I resist a couple of them.

Their kindness helped the day, as did your personal request which I am happy to accept. Must have a shortbread cookie and a hot chocolate to celebrate that event.

Another sad and tearful day as we collected Chip's ashes from the vet. Made the more poignant by the sheer respectfulness of the cremation company. Packed first in a beautifully decorated and personal cardboard box which housed the actual container, a small mahogany, decorated box bearing a brass nameplate with his name 'Chip' engraved into it. And another brilliant card expressing condolences. That caring quality helps.

God, this game is displaying all my weaknesses. Thanks Anna for keeping me right.

are you talking about the Spooky comp entries? Because they will be in a separate book with a separate write-up and cover

Sorry, WriterGirl, I believed I had erased that stupid suggestion after I'd read again your initial instructions. But for some reason the deletion did not work, but again, I didn't check. My apologies.

That really is a great cover. And 'wordwielder'? at first glance I read 'worldwide' but realisation made it all the more striking. Ideal!

One small thought (not a criticism) but the omission of a suggestion of the 'Darker' material might create confusion.

Scott, you've been deep-thinking again, haven't you? Hasn't anyone warned you about that? It could age you or lead to eye-problems. But don't stop, we accept your noble sacrifice.
