It was all she ever wanted

They were on their way home to their brownstone in the Lower East Side. Walking together in the chill, abundant, evening air while wet fluffy flakes fell. She stopped, turned, and smiled up at him with nostalgic eyes.

"What is it?" Droplets of precipitation stuck to the umbrella he had in his hand. Holding it up and over the two of them. Sniffing the clean refreshed air he head tilted at her. Then leaning down to kiss her chill lips. Warming themselves together.

It was simply like their entire life together, so far. All she really wanted was to share.
