Winter has passed away. Spring returns to his life.
New friends. Young and old. More than ever before. More than ever before. Ever.
It's warming up. The forsythia and daffodils have shown him that it's a new day.
Precious are these new friends. Young and old. All of them open and smiling. Smiling at him in the way he's seldom seen before.
Once or twice before.
There were a few. A couple. One or two.
There was a springtime before. Might he taste the nectar of that blooming once again?
Or does the cold wind of winter still touch his life.
