How Do You Know

"How do you know someone's a real friend?"

"Oh, you're getting real deep now. What brought this on?"

"It's one person really. We always seemed to have a good rapport."

"A rapport? What's that mean?"

"We got along. We enjoyed each other's company."

"So, what's the problem now?"

"The problem is they've closed me off."

"How? What've they done?"

"Well, not much. Just stopped talking to me. And they don't answer calls."

"Things change. I bet they're going through something. You never know."

"That's true. I could wait and see."

"Are you a real friend? Be there for them."

"You're right."
