The Urge to Share

I'm willing to share. I want to share. My mother is gone. She'll never know what I've accomplished. My wife knows. That helps. It's not enough.

Old friends, new friends, some will know, some won't care, but I've done it. I've achieved what I set out to do.

But I want to share it with all of them. My love is not something that fades away. I want to share.

They'll all know about it. They'll know and rejoice in my triumph. They'll acknowledge my greatness. I'm taking the long walk.

I swallow the pills.
