Crowded Heart

Misguided relationship

Friend me she said,

I remember the day.

So many months ago,

But seems like just yesterday.

Chat me she said,

You seem like a nice guy.

I don’t have many friends,

So I gave it a try.

Kiss me she said,

Come closer to me.

Trapped by her charms,

She led me so easily.

Touch me she said,

Her body was mine.

How could I not?

Even if only online.

Fuck me she said,

I’m ready for you.

I slid inside her,

As my feelings grew.

Love me she said,

I know you’re the one.

She took hold of my heart,

Our life together begun.

Meet me she said,

To fulfill our destiny.

Was I the one?

She just had to see.

Maybe she said,

So much to consider.

She couldn’t commit,

Her heart would forbid her.

I’m sorry she said,

It seems she was mistaken.

There are others she still cared for,

How could she ever forsake them?

I can’t let go of them she said,

But she still wanted me as well.

We both knew the journey ended,

As all hopes and dreams fell.

Goodbye forever I said,

Before our love would even start.

There is no place for me,

Inside your crowded heart.
