A numb Heart,
Numbed through the pain,
It has endured.

And hardened,
To not feel emotions,
It should not feel.

This heart,
Has long forgotten,
True emotions.

True emotions,
Are hard to gain,
When you have,
Lost them for so long.

But they can,
Be slowly regained,

It can be,
Such a hard,

But one that,
Will be worth it,
In the end.

Trust is,
The one thing,
I kept.

Trust broken,
So many times,
Leads to such,
A damaged,
And broken,

But this heart,
Is healing,
So slowly,
But it's trying.

It's trying,
To get over,
The depression,
The everlasting,

The heart,
That loves,
And smiles,
Can seem,
So far,

Sides of me,
Have been repressed,
For so long,
It's been hurting me,
But learning,
About me,
Is healing my,
Poor emotionless heart.

An emotion that,
Can be hard to feel
But is something,
That we hold onto,

Breaking away,
From the sadness,
As well,
As it's all,
I've known,
For so long.

I just need,
To try,
To break away,
One day,
I may be free,
Of this sadness,
That engulfs me.
