HomePoetry Storiesfinally tearing down walls

finally tearing down walls

Mind spiraling
Your skin burning
Searching for what you want
What you need

No direction
Losing control
Playing games
From behind your walls

Everything makes you hurt more
So you play harder
Grasping at straws
Anything to fill the void

The emptiness spreads
And aches from deep inside
Longing for something
You just cant find

With one touch
He cools the skin
As the burn starts on the inside
The emptiness starts to fill

You tear down the walls
Just for him
The need to be connected
In deeper ways

No more games
The searching has ended
You would've never guessed
What you would find

Take a deep breath
And really listen to what you feel
You ache more than ever
But your soul is finally at peace
