Love Yesterday Tomorrow

I saw you you claimed me
That night was the start
In the moment I met you
I gave you my heart
Ours was a true Love
Born pure sweet and new
And so my young footsteps
Were following you

We strolled through your woodland
You gave me your hand
And walked me through Life
So that I'd understand
You taught me so much
I thought we'd never part
As flowers catch the sun
So I caught your heart

Beautifully graceful
Brashly divine
Lovingly caring
Sassy yet fine
Outrageously beautiful
Bewildering and smart
Intelligent elegant
You danced in my heart

We were true lovers
Forever it seemed
To die in your arms
Was to quantify dreams
You're blessed with a beauty
So deep so profound
To whisper your name
Is to beautify sound

But Life came between us
We both knew it would
Against Love's parting tide
We fought best we could
Your horizon is settled
It's fireside serene
Mine's filled with fireworks
And plausible dreams

You were my Lover
Now you're my Friend
Tomorrow's beginning
Is yesterday's end
Together forever
Like stars and the sun
Though parted in time
We'll still be as one
