For my baby boy, flying high among the angels.

He came to me with broken wings.

And he wept bitter tears,

He said a fateful day was coming.

He took my hands.

He hugged me tight.

He sang a song,

At my Angel's bold wink.

With purpose in mind.

And destiny in stride.

I began the task,

Once before I had tried.

With him at my shoulder.

His voice in my head.

I knew my task finished.

Just as he'd said...
