Not a Love Poem

I lay there drunk and vulnerable,

When you came in.

The smell of booze and cigarettes

On your breathe

As you press hard against me.

Not letting me move.

Each kiss causing that sick feeling,

Deep in the pit of my stomach.

I am dizzy and weak,

As you fumble with my buttons.

I squirm and pull away,

But you don't let go.

A lone tear escapes,

And trickles down my cheek.

I hate you.

You disgust me.

But that doesn't matter.

Because nothing changes,

Except who I am.

Damaged and weak.
