As sunset falls on weary eyes,
My grind comes to a gentle sigh.
The daily rush, the constant strife,
Give way to leisure, and a peaceful life.
With family dear, I'll share my days,
And watch my loved ones in joyous ways.
The golf course beckons, green and wide,
Where friendships bloom, and memories reside.
The world, once fast, now slows its pace,
And in the stillness, I find my space.
With friends, I'll laugh, and tales will tell,
And in retirement's calm, my heart will swell.
In this sweet freedom, I am reborn,
With time to cherish life, and love that's sworn.
