Truth Is Truth

Tags: poetry

The truth is true no matter what they say
We see the horrors of the hate each day.

No matter how they hide the ugly parts
They never stay unknown from those with hearts.

So soar above the filthy lucre lust
And always give your faith to those you trust.

Create your beauty with the joy you spread
And you will dance upon the road ahead.

Tell those who spread their evil lies around
That you will always let true good abound.

I tell you this to help our love endure
Your soul just draws me in and makes me sure.

My truth is you and you alone dear one
Adoring you will be the best I've done.

But words are words and cannot tell it all
So I will wait for Nature's loving call.

And when it comes beside you I will stay
Because you are the light, the truth, the way.

To ever let you down would be a crime
I'll stay with you until the end of time.
