Walk With Me

Walking through my mind with me.

A walk inside my head be a scary trip for most.
Things that lurk scare the hell out of me at times.
When at the front of my mind and I am their host.

Probably a good thing that I only share small bits.
Never inviting many to have a closer look inside.
You may run, maybe cower in a corner having fits.

Fantasies, dreams, desires, mostly inside I hide.
Not wanting to let them out because of fear.
Mostly I am alone when taking them for a ride.

Travels sometimes are fun, sometimes plain boring.
Asking questions always, mind full of curiosities.
Often the answers found, leading to more exploring.

Waking down frightful paths, feeding my insecurity.
Notions fighting within myself, wanting to escape.
Imprisoned hostages like myself, hidden in insularity.

Strolling inside my head, can be a chilling journey .
If you dare, grab my hand, try your luck.
Hold on tight, we are going for a trip into tyranny.
