White Mother   Great Winter

You come during the night
Your white blanket the dark
Listen to you laugh as you blow
Inches drift to feet
Work your frigid game
Laugh at the puny ones
As you drop another foot

Brace you, foolish humans
Drink your coffee or tea
Pray at the altar of Starbucks
Fools All

As White Mother gifts you all.
