I'm fascinated to see from the poll that word of mouth scored so highly. That's quite a pat on the back for a relatively small website so congrats to the admin guys. That is something to be proud of!

this site was recommended to me from several friends on different sites as a good place to start sharing my writing instead of keeping it to my self. So obviously I listened to them, because here I am. I mostly write poems, but occasionally a story wants to leave the dusty cobwebs in my mind and see the light of day.
Joined the other site a while back. I've been posting erotic stories there and elsewhere since 2010. Along the way I met a remarkably talented writer, known to you as Welshdreamer42, and she pointed me here. I was getting a little tired of all the rude stuff, to be honest, and felt in need of a more erudite site. Seems as though I've found it! 😀

I cam here years and years ago and I can't remember how. It was probably Google. A friend and I wanted a writing outlet, and then you know, I didn't. So I deleted my profile and stories and forgot about it until I recently got the itch again.
The other site. I'm not the same person in both places.
