Editing a post with an embedded Youtube video is still very messy. I ended up deleting and reposting one after editing made all the text disappear after hitting Submit. Only the video showed up. But if I clicked Edit again, the text was visible in the editor. So recommend deleting and reposting if you need to edit a post containing a video. Might affect External image links, too, but have not tried.

My stories "pre-upgrade" are listed as Anonymous. Can you kindly connect them to my current/old name? Thanks, Wordpusher715

Can you please submit a support ticket on this?

You can find it at the bottom of the page under HELP & INFO. Click Support.

At the top underneath Support FAQ is a sentence that says, "Here you can find..." at the end of that sentence is raise a ticket. Click that.

Once there, just follow the steps to raise a support ticket.

This might have been discussed before, but I would have to search through seven pages to find it. When I want to send a new message the send button is almost hidden under my task bar, and disappears totally if you go down a line. It is the same for the other site as well. There is a quick fix. Send a one word message while you can just see the send button, then send the bulk of your message in a reply.

Also, when you click on an external email to see a message it takes you to a log in page and not straight to the message that it did do until a few days ago.

Yes, please raise a ticket. I've tried out both of those and they are both working fine for me so hopefully, it will be an easy fix.

Since the changeover, all my external emails for both sites have taken me to the log-in page. I can no longer read them without having to log in. I miss that feature. Not sure if it is on the list of things to change.

I've asked about this feature as well and I can say it is on the list of things to be considered.

Howdy. The competition banner and link to all the entries has disappeared. In addition, the competition link in genres has disappeared too. Is there another way to see a list of the comp stories?

Hmmm… I wonder if the banner and links were programmed to be date sensitive? Here yesterday, disappear October 31, the competition deadline.

Wow, usually the comp stays open until the next day. Must have ended at midnight today instead of end of today.

Go to the home page, scroll down past the home page stories to Categories and there is a "Competitions" option. Click/tap that and Spooky Tales is first on the list.

Hey Molly, is there another way to see the list of entires? I know the date thingie will be addressed at a later date. But for now…

There isn’t a comp category under genres (on mobile access; I did not check on my laptop) and there is nothing at the bottom of any page if I scroll there.

Is there a comp view hack? Or just someplace else the stories can be viewed? I still need to read half of the stories.

Hey Dan, I still can’t see it.

What is the home page? Is that the main stories page? If it is, I can’t find any link or anything referring to competitions.

Yes, the banner should be left up for easy comp story access for buffoons like me who can’t find the comp link.

Does it matter if one is on mobile vs computer? Do we see the same things?

I found it. It’s in the category section at the bottom of the most current stories section. Maybe it should be in genres too? But the banner thing would help. 👍

I have received an email from Sarah @ Symbios who says she can see the issue from a screen shot I sent to her and it will be included in the next update in about 4 weeks. She also suggested zooming out to get around the issue until then, which seems to work.

I haven't scrolled through all of the posts in this thread. Perhaps someone has mentioned it. I would like to know when and if we will ever get a listing of all of the badges still available on the site with a good description of what they are for. I know I am still missing badges from before the conversion but I can't remember all of them.

I do know we changed the name of the Omnium badge to something else. Whatever it is now is not appearing on profiles. I have the Prolific badge which is for those who have written in 80 percent of the genres. I still need the new Omnium to be added back.

The Storiesspace equivalent of the Omnium badge is the Plenary badge. At least, my dubious memory is telling me that is the case. At one point only Rebelious_Soul and I had it. She is gone now. I guess I am alone now.

I notice that the count on my Recommended Read badge didn't increment when The Healer's Secret (my most recent story) was awarded an RR (my RR badge shows 3 and I now have 4). Not a big deal for me since I'm not a "badger" but I wonder if it ties into other badge issues.

Mine have been updated, but I am still 7 or 8 badges missing.

I raised a ticket regarding the lack of email notifications some two months ago. Now there are no email notifications for anything. Not for story comments, new stories from those I follow, not even for direct messages. I feel that this is a very important problem and likely to be detrimental to the site.

I'm getting email notifications for messages sent to me so I was not aware of this. I'll ask about that too.

I get email notifications for new PMs but nothing else that I have noticed. I only knew Healer's Secret got an RR because I happened to notice when I was looking over my stories for something else.
