Hiya everyone. I wanted to come in here and touch base with you. I know it's been a little quiet around here, and I assure you it's not been for a lack of trying. So you all know, I appreciate each and every one of you. I wanted to have a comp out for you all a bit ago, but some things in my life decided otherwise. I am happy to say that there's one coming soon, so please be on the lookout for that. Hopefully, it will be a fun one.

While you wait for the comp and considering it's Spooky Season, my favorite time of year(I need to read Mendalla's story), I wanted to remind everyone about one of the writing prompts. I've actually written a story for it. I haven't posted a story since 2021! I should change that.

I am so sorry that I have missed this. I've looked in the forums every day and still missed this. We don't count characters and that is something we need to update.

As Mendalla said, from 100 to 1000 is flash, and 1000 minimum for everything else except poetry, musing, and lyrics, they don't have the same rules. Only one is the 10k limit.

I have two kitties. One is a calico that loves to give affection but will smack you if you try to give it back. Even when she's sleeping on you, you're not allowed to touch her. The boy is a big chunky (15 pounds) tabby. He likes to be carried around like a baby while I do things around the house. They are night and day but it's good they have each other so I support getting two.
