The Only Thing New Is You

Are you waiting for me?
Waiting for me to step aside,
To bow out gracefully,
All for you to have what’s mine.

I’ve watched you slinking around,
Sneaking in behind the scenes,
Planting seeds and little blooms,
Hoping she will tend them.

She has a gentle touch,
It’s delicate but strong,
Oh, the things she does,
And she does them to me.

Do you want what I have?
The love we share,
All the things she gives,
How she controls my body.

You want to feel her lips on yours,
Her fingers gliding along you,
Feeling your body awake for her,
Seeing how easy your legs fall open.

Have you thought of her marking you?
Of her teeth sinking into your thighs,
Her fingers bruising your flesh,
You want to feel the heat of her breath.

I can see it on your face,
There’s no need to say,
You want to take my place,
The place in her arms and heart.

You want to know what she does to me.
The way her tongue glides along my body,
How she worships my sex,
As her mouth claims me.

Claiming me with my sweetness on her lips,
Playing me like no other,
Bringing song after song as I sing for her.

Does she encourage you?
I think she does,
You take it and run,
Neither of you thinks of me.

Now your words ring of the truth,
The only truth,
Cutting through the blathering of her lies.

You have her now,
You’ve got your way,
Do you think she’ll make you sing?
Pulling such sweet songs like mine,
Does she worship you,
And tell you she loves you?

Does she connect with you,
Love you,
Fuck you,
All like she did with me?

So naive to think it will be the same,
She will never play your body like she did mine,
She will never give herself to you,

You will never know her dirty little secrets,
You will never know her,
Not completely.

Think of her sweet words,
All that, she said to me,
They haven’t changed,
Nothing is different for her,
The only thing new is you.
