Dali

I feel like a Dali painting, warped by your imagination ...

I feel like a Dali painting
my image warped
by your own imagination

Imperfection of this body
desecrated with scars
crafted by your own torturous mind

Time melting
winding back to forgotten days
words spoken and virtual hugs we shared

Memories soon fade
like forging fire into ash
which you silently blow away

What once we had
has slowly disappeared
of a friendship separated by oceans wide

The drawer within my chest
which protected our cherished bond
is now open and bare

Our bodies severed
breaking the chain which held us together
unleashing the suffering of endless pain

My mind, body and soul broken
by your sledgehammer tactics
breaking it into a billion pieces

Strange thoughts
of cats leaping through paintings
clawing at my fractured mind

I now walk alone on
this hallowed ground through eyes
that madden me with disturbed images
