The keyboard at my fingertips;

A brightly lit screen in front of me.

A melancholic mind and heart.

I am now in the realm of the WWW,

everything only a click away;

yet it all so real, feeling and friendships.

On my everyday life, 

people just don't understand,

the need we feel to write.

Every friendship is unique,

and must be nourished, 

as the flowers in a beautiful garden.

My sight focused in the distance,

and a chime in the background I hear.

A smile from ear to ear I feel.

A dear friend across the sea.

Exchanging ideas, and words,

grasping and reaching we seek,

At times only fantasies,

and others a sincere soul we find.

Yet we cherish every second,

every line, every exchange.
