I was about to leave
When you reached out
grabbing my hand.
Pulling me closer,
Placing me on your lap.
I looked in your eyes,
As you wrapped your arms
Around my waist.
Resting my head on your shoulder,
As you rest your head against mine.
Enjoying a brief moment
Before turning to ask.
What can I do?
A tear runs down your cheek,
And you said "please stay and just hold me tight".
