Unseen Eyes

Shades drawn to hide from sight;
As unseen demons cast their light;

Seeking to catch me unaware;
I can't find rest from their hellish stare;

My tears flow free from unhealed sorrow;
Fighting night terror, till the dawn of tomorrow;

Wounded soul lies raw and bare;
As I endure this nightly affair;

As unseen eyes watch through the night;
I pray for solace to ease my fright.
