Sad to be posting this so soon after the birthday thread, but I have heard via James that Larry passed away recently.

I send condolences and good vibes to family, friends, and others touched by this loss. Larry was an active and important part of this community for many years and will be missed.

Very sad to hear. Definitely sending prayers to his family. I knew him to be a very nice, supportive man. He will be missed!

It's very sad to lose someone who was so kind and supportive.

Thanks for calling attention to that. I missed it earlier. Serves me right for heading straight to the forums most of the time. That's a lovely poem and a terrific tribute to Survivor.

My heart goes out to his family and friends.

My heart goes out to his furry friend Victor.

Larry was a very sweet soul . He was so caring . He cared deeply about his friends and family.

He was supportive of writers and always willing to proofread stories and offer great advice.

My prayers go out to all who loved and knew him

Very sad to hear this. I was aware it was on the cards but, nevertheless, he will be missed.

It is strange. I cannot think of words to write here. It has been a rough month or so. I was meaning to create a 'Tribute to Larry' thread so I was thrilled to find Scott had wonderfully done so. Thank you, Scott.

I pray for Larry, his family, and loved ones.

I am very happy he was able to celebrate one final birthday on earth. In a message, he wrote me how elated he was with the love friends showed him.

Larry was a wonderful friend. I was heartbroken to hear the news of his passing and as my brain knows he is no longer suffering my heart hurts for the loss of an amazing human. He always was there with a kind word, a shoulder to cry on, or encouragement of my work. He loved his friends he had made and talking about his accomplishments on stage or his garden or of course his furry pal victor. My thoughts are with all of Larry's friends and family. He will be missed by many. ,, 💔

It's still to heartbreaking for me to discuss. But, I'm very lucky to have gotten close to him and had his friendship and care. A sweet, very intelligent, very talented and very kind man. He loved the western states where he grew up and traveled often with his wife to visit national and state parks. Of course, Victor the Great, went with them. heart

Nice that they not only mentioned his writing, but linked to it. Lovely touch.

Larry's obituary was shared with me and I thought those of you that knew him might want to read it.

I didn't know Larry especially well, but this is a moving obituary. Thank you for sharing it, Molly.
