It's probably best to keep those to your profile area so you can make them private if you want to, but they're more than welcome there.

This is a nice site, btw...and it's designed far better than most "general" story sites in the way the stories are presented on the home page...
I have stories posted on another site for instance, that have less views after a year than my first poem here got in two days...
I once knew a drinker who had a moderating problem...

Just a request that you please not make mention of our sister site here. We really want this to be a site people can feel comfortable sharing with their family and friends, and if there are posts relating to the other site throughout the forum, they may be reluctant to do that.

I agree with Lisa...of course, I always agree with Lisa...something to do with job security...

But yeah, and as she said in an earlier post...the site has a lot to offer in terms of writing and writing advice in the forums, but please bear in mind it is intended for all age groups, and keep that in mind when posting and observe the ratings when submitting stories...

We don't want to have to yell at anybody...or make anyone sit in the corner with a dunce cap on...and you really wouldn't want that now, would you?

Lol..no really, not trying to put a damper on anyone's fun, just use common sense...no running in the halls here with scissors, that sort of thing...

I've run in the halls with scissors.. I've stepped over the line.. I STILL don't need glasses.. I've left the door open and didn't heat the whole neighborhood.. nor was I born in a barn.. my face didn't stay that way.. and I've never once been careful for what I wished for.. am I missing something?

It's really good to see so many new faces around here, but if you could please avoid mentioning adult-related websites/topics across the site, including the chat rooms, forum, in profile areas and image galleries, I'd really appreciate it. This is a family friendly site and we have members here aged sixteen and over. We want everyone to feel welcome.

I believe that you are correct. In my experience, once sex-content work is allowed the volume of work in that genre will overwhelm all others. There are other sites designed for that and I have published on some of them. It is not about censorship or prudishness. It is about providing an opportunity for other styles that also need a home.

Thank you for posting this and I hope more will read this before they join.
Kudos to you and the rest of the mods and members who have been vigilant in watching for and reporting those who don't stay within the rules.
