Ontario had its lowest new cases since mid-March, which is good news but I'll need to see it being consistent before I'll start cheering. I mean, NZ was at 0 and still had a new outbreak so it ain't over 'til it's over as they say.

Went to see the dentist and lost half a gram (or whatever a tooth that's half ceramic cap weighs). He got a bit over-enthusiastic with the freezing, too. My ear is still numb.

Nice. Not sure it would work in our kitchen without a total redo, but nice.
Mouth is fine but the gap is larger than I expected. However, if I compare to the same tooth on the opposite side, it probably is about right. Just seems like the gap feels bigger than tooth + gaps should. Getting insurance quotes on implants though it's not in a visible spot so I half wonder if it is worth the money.
I am doing a minor edit on Night of the Wind. Nothing major, just realized the quasi-Medieval town in it had the same name as the fictional modern city I use in many stories so decided to rename it now that I have a story in that modern setting on here. I had just kind of used the name (Eversham) as a placeholder when I originally came up with the fantasy story but never bothered to change it, even though I had already been using it in modern, "real world" stories for a while.

Good morning everyone! Nice to catch up on all your news.
Looks like our week-long heatwave, with temperatures just over 20 or 70 degrees is over. It was lovely while it lasted!

My brand-spanking new computer is back complete with a new hard drive. Now to get everything rejiggered and then learn how to muck my way through the new and/or updated programs. Don't know what I did as a child to deserve all this but it must have been very interesting.
As for being depressed, these days that's what passes for 'normal' even if you haven't had a tooth pulled out through one of your ears.
Coffee and cookies are in my immediate future. Later.
will be a nice to have but because of the work I do, I'll also be tied up for a day or so doing setup. My team just do a base install for me and then I load all the other tools I use.
