I slip in here several times a day. Saying nothing, but stealing cookies as I slip back out. Have to tell you that while I love, love, love all your cookies - the butterscotch sugar cookies are divine. How you make them both soft and crisp and like paper thin on the edges! You are a marvel. Happy Hump Day! Me, I am one happy 'Spacer' for my main page is back to the 'old-fashioned' style. For me, this is a major goodness.

To celebrate this monumental event, I've actually rinsed out the coffee pot, used some high grade medium roast 'breakfast' coffee and filled both it an our trusty kettle with water that seems okay. Combine all that with Sarah's cookies and life is, if not exactly getting any better, at least not getting worse. ;)

Always fresh cookies when Sara has been around. Such a good job on the coffee this morning, Bill. I'm sure Xander appreciated it while contemplating Jane's smile.

Of course, we have ht coffee ready for the tea drinkers. As well as for cocoa. It is that time of the year for certain.

I have hopes that it will warm up enough today that I can walk Victor in our favorite park. He may even get off leash.

LOL. Automatic engine abort at T-1 second. The main engines didn't light. Poor Elon. He even had a NASA research plane in the area to monitor the flight. Oh well, another day, another Starship prototype.

Morning, Spacers. The Inspirations Coffee Shop and Community Center is open for business. Has anyone taken up the new Challenge? I'm still trying to come up with something or other. At the moment, 'other' is dominating my ruminations. (sigh)

The coffee pot has been rinsed out and filled with coffee imported from someplace else. Water for the coffee pot and tea kettle is being supplied by the Greater Kansas City region water recycling center. Enjoy, and don't forget Sarah's assortment of most commendable cookies.

To be honest concerning the writing challenge I had another contest in mind that I was working on. But that one is completed for me so perhaps I can wrap my head around a more "literary" type of challenge. I'll be considering it in the next few days. It would be fun to see what others could come up with.

So Crazy Elon's Rocket Emporium and Snack Shack got it off the ground. And the landing went sort of well, except for the explosion at the end. Haven't watched the final analysis from my favorite rocketry geek yet (Scott Manley, look him up Youtube) but it looks like they had only one engine working for the landing so it didn't slow down fast enough.

I am currently reading Guy Endore's The Werewolf of Paris, one of the few early horror classics that I have not read yet. So far, it is more of mid-nineteenth century melodrama, though there are hints of darker, stranger things coming. A feud ending in a massacre and then both sides having their property seized by a creditor (the same creditor for both confused1

), a rapacious priest (from one of the feuding families), a strange baby born on Christmas Day (to a teenager seduced by the priest) and other such fun stuff. Oddly, though, no werewolves yet though both priest and baby have telltale signs of being one (bushy eyebrows, hairy palms). Might inspire me since it is definitely PD.

Morning and welcome to the Stories Space House of Coffee (and tea and just for Sarah, hot chocolate)

Don't know about the rest of youse guys and gals, but I'm sensing that the Corona Virus has just about beaten us all down. It like everyone on both sides of the Atlantic and the Great Lakes are suffering from something a bit like PTSD. If I had a cure for this condition, I'd pass it along, honest. Any suggestions would be welcomed.

Meanwhile, the coffee pot is full of caffeinated goodness and the tea kettle is ready to do its part in the production of tea and coco. Combine any of those with some of Sarah's cookies and you'll be glad you did. ;)

Hello, hello. Nice to see you folks bright and early today. Victor is not happy because it was damp outside, but he took his walk like a trooper and did his duty.

Coffee is brewing with clean tap water from the Kaw River (also known as Kansas) and some of that water is ready in the tea kettle as well.

I'm working on a poem today. I hope I can get some feelings expressed soon. I am watching out for any other works by you folks as well. Put them out there.

Morning, Inspirators. IMO, it's time for something like a Stories Space sick call. We all know 2020 has been a year from hell, but it might do us all good to share what we've been putting up with. For instance, Sarah lost her mother recently and my wife passed away last month. At the moment, Gill, a mod here at Stories Space, is struggling with the effects of the Corona virus. So 'tell all' and then take a minute to share a cyber hug and positive vibe with others. Anyway, just a thought.

Coffee's ready for ingestions and the tea kettle has a full load of hot water for the tea and coco crowd. (Sarah, you might want to bring in another BIG bag of mini-marshmallows.) And speaking of Sarah, her latest assortment of cookies are ready for consumption -- so start consuming, all ready.

Morning, to all with a special thanks to Larry for getting things going around here. I'd have come in earlier, maybe, but got caught up in the celebration of my battered, 3-5, LSU Tigers traveling to Florida and beating the #6 ranked Gators 37-34 thanks, in part, to a thrown shoe, no kidding.

Me, I'm gonna fill my mug to the brim, grab some of Sarah's super cookies and go sit in a corner and catch a replay of the game. ;)
