In Twilight Time

The time grows short but love will never die

The days grow short, your time runs out but love
will never die. You simply must accept
that it has come to you once more. Accept
the way you have so many times before.
You know that it is true; just look at them
and realize the honesty they smile.

They smile at you with winning eyes and sighs
as both of you join arms and dance again.
You dance, ignoring twilight falling soon.
Your soul embraces love, it trusts once more,
and never fails to soar into your bliss.
With hands enmeshed, devoted one last time.

The music that they sing will echo till
it grows, resounding every passing day.
Time passes, days grow short, the light grows weak.
So know them as you never knew before.
Surround them with your arms and live your life,
until the very end, adore once more.
