So soft and still the mist rolls in today
Across the sea, it touches lovers there
Who meld beside the beach and on the bay.
They taste the lust that only trust lays bare.

A fairy dust that fell upon them both
Has given to their voices magic tone,
And makes each word seem spoken as an oath
That from this time they'll never be alone.

The sand and surf are treasures that they share
But paradise they find within their arms
And faithfully they seek life as a pair
Beneath the bayside arbor with its charms.

As we all know one never can be sure
But their devotion seems so very pure.
