Lust For Arts

It's winter and the winds do blow
But we are safe inside you know.

My metal art upon the wall
Is rattling and about to fall.

With special hooks I make it tight
So it will stay a happy sight.

It's hammered in a gleeful style
To give arriving guests a smile.

Like many pieces round our place
It makes our home a pleasant space.

We've gathered art from distant parts
Enriching both our lives and hearts.

Along with books that line our shelves
With beauty we have filled ourselves.

And music sounds about the home
Deep in our souls it lets us roam.

Theatric plays on stage we see.
If one looks close one might see me.

How could a person live without
These pleasures I now speak about.

An empty life without such things.
One must have lust for what art brings.

I cannot judge what path you choose
But without arts I think you lose.
