Silence

Your silence is so loud,

It screams into the darkness,

Flowing through my brain,

Making me feel insane.

The pounding sound,

Threatening to tear me down,

Running through my heart,

Ripping me apart.

Silence is a powerful thing,

Louder than spoken words,

Especially, as love dies,

From all the omissions and lies.

“Speak to me,” I cry,

Breaking through the darkness,

I deserve to know,

Should I go?

Silence is eating my heart,

Tearing me down beat by beat,

Its left me confused,

You’ve left me bruised,

It has to stop,

Tell me true,

Do you end your silence,

As I leave you?
