Walk On The Beach

Walk On The Beach

I walked on the beach today,

Thinking of you,

As the waves crashed

My heart soared

I smiled to myself

Still remembering your whispers

The words of a lover

Giving his heart and soul

Your touch on my body

Your breath in my ear

A love so giving

Full of passion and no fear

As I walked further

The sun in my eyes

I was blinded by the rays

Not words of those who chastise

You speak of tomorrow's

Our future so bright

Our present is heaven

Bursting with light

Our past made us

The lovers we are

As I walk a bit further

In the distance I see

The silhouette of a man

Coming to me

He's my knight, my lover

My present and future

His arms reaching for me

In a tight embrace

Here I will stay

Looking up in his face

Softly he whispers in my ear

"I love you my darling,

My lover, my dear."

So if you see us on my beach someday

It's hand in hand as two lovers walk away.
