Interests Enjoy my time here on stories space browsing the forums, checking out the stories ( have written a couple myself ( as yet unpublished here) - hope to write more!) and reading and posting in the Groups that interest me. My time on here has opened my mind to so many things and taught me a lot about writing I must admit! In real life I'm keen on DIY and Gardening ( although rubbish at both!) Enjoy watching Motorspor
Favorite Books Lots of books could be classed as favorites of mine , but if I really had to pick one it would have to be "Johnathan Livingston Seagull" by Richard Bach !
Favorite Authors I do particularly like reading autobiographies, but when it comes to fiction I must confess to liking the work of Clive Cussler, and the historical novels of Bernard Cornwell . Now I've retired I'm also enjoying reading classics from my youth again !
Favorite Movies Again there's lots of movies that I enjoying watching ( and I do shed a tear sometimes too!) but I really enjoy any film featuring the "king of cool" Steve McQueen. Another particular favourite is " The 13th Warrior" based on a book by Michael Crichton, starring Antonio Banderas.
Favorite TV Shows Not a great lover of television, but I do enjoy factual, and historical shows. I also enjoy watching Car and motorcycle racing ( especially F1 & MotoGP) I am one of the many Valentino Rossi fans! Quite into NCIS and the spin-off series too! I'm afraid I'm not really into soaps and reality shows !
Favorite Music I'm going to need a bigger piece of paper ! Lots and lots of different genres of music appeal to me depending on my mood or situation, varying from Heavy rock, country, big band, blues, or even classical or cajun ! Have to say my favorite is Mark Knopfler and Dire Straits, and my favorite classical composers are Vaughan Williams, Edward Elgar, and Jean Sibelius. And when it comes to beautiful pure voices my favorite female singer is Karen Carpenter, and my favorite male has to be Matt Monro !
