As we walked through the flames of time Searching for  Our true one  Love    Hand in hand  Coming through Stronger Renewed Pure Not as two  But as one Love    Phoenix sings Wings spread wide Warmed by  Your love As one we rise Song of love  Sung to the Gods  Mortals giving praise Circle completed  Love    As we walked through The flames of time Soulmates reunited Brought through time  By the mystic ether Called  Love, Pho...

A day in my life without you is like a fog bank in the murky twilight, I see shapes and hear sounds but there is no illumination, no clarity. The mists hide the beauty of the woods and the twilight hides the day. Where is life without You bringing the Light? A day in my life without you is like a wintry day in the midst of haze, Forms are white and sounds are muffled, senses strain to understand. Drifts hide the beauty of...

You know what's funny? How easy it is to give up on something you cared so much about. You constantly tell yourself that you could never give up that something, whether it be a hobby, a loved one, or even yourself. The last is surprisingly easy though, a few blows to your ego and...                                                                                               POW!                                           ...

The program comes to an end. Scenes from movies over the years. A montage of people loving each other in normal ways. The love that dare not speak its name. Racking sobs burst out from him. Weeping tears trail down his cheeks. Mouth wide. Choking gently. The pup lying beside him looks up into his face, a query in his eyes. It is not something easily explained. Even if he could understand the words he would never understan...

I was sittin’ by myself in a dusty little bar, Halfway ‘tween the jukebox and my broke-down car. A 20-something brunette was a drinkin’ all alone When in walked Blondie and my flesh turned to bone.   Blondie was a looker, dressed up real fine; Brownie wore glasses, was about twenty-nine. Blondie’d been around the block a time or two; Brownie wore a heart-shaped red tattoo.   Here I was a settin’ all confused upon a fence-...

Spires of Holiness Burst beams through clouds Crisp air Refreshes my Soul   Harps and Lyres Gruntled melody through din Tympanic sound Refreshes my Soul   Incense and myrrh Invigorated scents through smoke Melded aromas Refreshes my Soul   Chocolate and peppermint Indulgence through sharpness Combining flavors Refreshes my Soul   Corduroy and suede Roughed through processes Textured fabric Refreshes my Soul

Memories everywhere. I used to try and put them away or keep them safe, Not sharing. Such a part of me. Making me who I am. What my life has become. Doesn't mean I can't make new ones. I can share them all.   Never ending memories, I have not lost.   In a thousand different ways, never will I forget. Forever missed and always loved.  Memories I hold on

From the first, You captured me. Placing a love hex, Around this old heart. First night, As you gave. Making my heart sing, As never before. First kiss, Needing so much more, From that first kiss. Bringing us together. After that kiss, We both knew. Our love shall never end.

My arms long to hold him Fingertips to touch him tenderly With laughter and tears  I miss him so I will not let the tears fall He asked me not to cry Until he could hold me close And make me smile He is my madman Owns my heart and soul So I wait to be together To let the tears flow Some days like today I miss him more

Hear the music playing Feel it in your soul Taken me in your arms  Look into my smile Hold me very close Sing to me the song The one that makes me smile Even when I trip at times Hold me that much tighter One dance or more The two-step or just to sway It really doesn't matter We let the music take us When you and I are dancing We hear it with our souls

A full moon gave her light to the path she traveled. Shadows blended together to give her a warmth. Coming each night to wait gave her a comfort in the dark. As she looked at the moon. She knew the connection was true  With tears that sparkled like the stars above. She waited...

I first became aware of them when I was eighteen years old. The voices in my head began to clamor for control of me and it scared me. Metaphorically speaking, they carried pitchforks. They wanted to kill me or run me out of town. My voices had faces. Angry faces. Shouting faces. They had noses, eyes, and hair. Some had shaking fists directed at me. Others simply pressed forward invading my personal space, crowding me. Lit...

With the modern age, the Greek Gods returned to Mount Olympus. From time to time they still interfered with our daily lives. This is but one.   Atropos As the day starts. Mortals stumble awake. As their day starts. Fresh coffee dripping. Fast kiss and off they go. Atropos looks down, With mischief in her heart. Who shall I play with today? Shall it be Steve's thread, Or young sweet Joan?   With a wicked laugh, She flys do...
